How Signing Works
1
Upload a PDF
Pages are rendered right here in your browser — the file is only sent to the server when you ask for the signed result.
2
Create and place your signature
Draw, type, or upload it, then drag it to the right spot and resize it. Arrow keys nudge it for pixel-perfect placement.
3
Download the signed PDF
The signature is written into the page content as a real image object, so the original text and graphics stay sharp and selectable.
Frequently asked
- Is the signature really part of the file?
- Yes. It is embedded into the page content stream as an image XObject, so it appears in every reader and when the document is printed.
- Does this create a digital certificate signature?
- No. This is a visible, handwritten-style signature — the electronic equivalent of signing a printout. It does not add a cryptographic certificate.
- Can I sign more than one page?
- Yes. Navigate to any page and place the same signature — or a different one — as many times as the document needs.
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes. The drawing pad accepts touch and stylus input, and the layout stacks into a single column on small screens.
